Adonis

...the second Doberman Pinscher in Sarge's life.

After Hans and before Kaiser, Adonis was Sarge's daily companion during the year Sarge lived away from Athens. Adonis came from large Doberman stock, a line called Warlock. At his peak he was a very solid 110-pound, red Warlock Doberman Pinscher that no one would ever want to mess with. I've never met a dog, pound for pound, with a more powerful grip than Adonis. You might get a toy or a stick out of this mouth, but you might also rip your shoulder out trying.

Adonis was a dog that enjoyed his status as "alpha" over Sarge. He would try to incite Sarge constantly for a challenge but was always patient and never too hard when Sarge came back at him pissed off with teeth showing. Although never viciously, these two played hard even to the point of blood on a few occasions. It's just what brothers do.
