It was too early on a Saturday morning, I had a headache, but I was going to pick-up a freshly painted Georgia Red's. It seemed like an eternity since I had gone to see the truck stripped down to metal and to review and approve the proposed body work. That day I had reviewed a pallet of 30 or 40 reds. I couldn't make a georgia red from crimson red from a fiery red or any other red for that matter. Together they all looked something like I wanted but none stood out.
The nice lady behind the counter directed me a few pages over in the color book to the metallics page. There I found a metallic fiery red. With its glittery texture, it should out much more than the plethora of reds on the other page, so I went with it.

Fast forward a few days (an eternity) and picture me walking around the corner of the building to find an
ORANGE Georgia Red's!
I actually convinced myself that this shade of red was playing with my aching head. I drove home, afraid all the way that I had an orange truck. My roommate actually confirmed my fears when she said, "Clay, I thought you were going to paint it red?"
Why I hate orange!
Georgia Red's loves the Georgia Bulldawgs!
